British violist ROSALIND VENTRIS leads an international career as a soloist and chamber musician. RICHARD UTTLEY has performed as recitalist and concerto soloist at venues including Bridgewater Hall, Cadogan Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Wigmore Hall, and, further afield.
ENSEMBLE MOLIÈRE have gained a reputation as an established early music ensemble. Their unique combination of instruments provides memorable and creative programmes from the repertoire of the 17th and 18th centuries, all performed on historical instruments.
Jonathan Bloxham, Daniel Lebhardt and Benjamin Baker come together as the Northern Chords Ensemble. We welcome them to Concerts in the West.
CHAMBERMUSICBOX was founded in 2016 when a group of leading international musicians came together from across Europe to perform a vast spectrum of chamber music repertoire.
Angela Hicks and Penelope Appleyard joined forces in 2019 to form Fair Oriana. The duo mixes their passion for historical music with entertaining staging, contemporary influences and, varying genres such as folk, medieval and jazz.
We are delighted to welcome RICCARDO PES and ALEXANDER BOYD. Riccardo collaborated with us on the Online Series in 2020 during the Pandemic.
We welcome Callum Smart and Richard Uttley from 6 to 7 October with a wonderful programme of Mozart, Debussy and Franck.
The Quartet regularly performs across the UK, Europe and the world at prestigious venues and festivals, including multiple performances at the Wigmore Hall.
We welcome back Oscar and Elliott Perks and Alexander Ullman. Sebastian Kolin joins them to perform Mozart, Hindemith and Brahms.
Sara Trickey and Ivana Gavrić bring us a wonderful programme of Mozart, Poulenc, Kreisler, Beethoven and Ravel.
