Duo Fabulae – Lorena Cantó and Yvain Calvo – will be with us soon from 27-28 June. We are delighted to welcome them to Concerts in the West. You can see their programme on the booking pages.

Rosalind Ventris returned to Concerts in the West and brought with her Matthew Featherstone and Anneke Hodnett. Trio Anima gave three delightful concerts from 9-10 May.

We have had to make changes to our June tour as Erdem Mısırlıoğlu has sustained an injury that requires time to heal. We hope that he will return with Mathis Rochat in a future season.

Concerts in the West was launched in 2006. We aim to bring talented young professional musicians to small, intimate venues in the West Country, in areas that may not have easy access to music of this quality. Short intensive tours, lasting a few days, are arranged mainly in Dorset and Somerset.

We feel privileged to hear music performed to such a high standard. The repertoire is enormously varied and gives local audiences a wonderful opportunity to hear both familiar and unusual works for voice and instrument in many combinations.
