We welcome back Rosalind and Richard.
British violist ROSALIND VENTRIS leads an international career as a soloist and chamber musician.
Rosalind frequently performs as part of the Kaleidoscope Chamber Collective (Associate Ensemble of the Wigmore Hall), and Trio Anima and was a founder member of the Albion Quartet. She has collaborated with internationally renowned artists and has been invited to perform at many prestigious festivals internationally, She has made numerous recordings and enjoys contemporary music collaborations.
In 2021 she became one of the Artistic Directors of the Cowbridge Music Festival in Wales and was appointed as Director of Musical Performance and Performance Studies at the University of Oxford.
RICHARD UTTLEY studied with Ian Buckle
at the Junior School of the Royal Northern College of Music, before going on to read Music at Clare College, Cambridge (graduating with a double first in 2008), and studying with Martin Roscoe at Guildhall School. His London debut at the Southbank Centre’s Purcell Room in 2010 was described by The Times as a ‘brilliant recital’. Richard has since released several solo recordings to critical acclaim and performed as recitalist and concerto soloist at venues including Bridgewater Hall, Cadogan Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Wigmore Hall, and, further afield. |
