We welcome back ELOISA-FLEUR and STEPHEN UPSHAW who played for us some years ago on different occasions. This time they come together and bring a wonderful pianist, SAM ARMSTRONG.
ELOISA-FLEUR is co-Artistic Director and Leader of the 12 Ensemble, London's un-conducted string orchestra, whose special approach to performing and programming sets them apart as a revolutionary classical ensemble. Eloisa-Fleur has directed the group internationally at leading venues and festivals including the BBC Proms and Wigmore Hall.
American violist STEPHEN UPSHAW regularly appears in festivals around the world including the BBC Proms, Cheltenham, IMS Prussia Cove, Lucerne, Brighton, Huddersfield, Aix-en-Provence and the Salzburg Chamber Music Festival. Much in demand as a chamber musician, he is a member of the Solem Quartet.
Hailed as 'a major new talent' (International Piano) and a ‘pianist of splendid individuality’ (Arts Desk) SAM ARMSTRONG has made solo recital debuts at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall in New York, as well as at Wigmore Hall. He is passionate about chamber music and has performed with many musicians including Valeriy Sokolov, Hannah Roberts, Philip Higham, and Katharine Dain. He has appeared at festivals including Aldeburgh, Cheltenham and Prussia Cove Open Chamber Music.

Stephen Upshaw is unable to join us on Friday morning in Bridport as he is playing at Wigmore Hall the night before. He will be performing in Ilminster and Crewkerne.
