Come on a musical adventure with us! Pack your voices, instruments and detective skills for a musical treasure hunt through time. This short workshop and mini concert is an enjoyable introduction to music through the ages for all ages. Who will find the key to unlocking this musical treasure chest? Join us for this special and unmissable event.
For those who wish to bring an instrument, please let us know what it is and the level you have reached.
Rachel Latham and Julian Perkins are specialists in flutes, piano and early keyboards, recorder and voice and lead enjoyable, interactive and informative workshops.

The workshop/performance will last approximately 2 hours (including an Interval) and will be enjoyed by everyone in the family from the age of 5 upwards. Rachel Latham/smaller> studied at Birmingham University and the Royal College of Music. She has worked with many well-established orchestras including The Hanover Band, The King's Consort and The London Handel Orchestra. She is in demand as a soloist and chamber musician and has played with, amongst others, the CBSO, Apollo and Pan and the Feinstein Ensemble. Rachel is an experienced teacher, has played on the Live Music Now! scheme and will be a tutor on the 2007 Oxford Baroque Week course./smaller> Julian Perkins /smaller>studied primarily at King's College, Cambridge and the Royal Academy of Music. He pursues a varied career as a Baroque and early Classical music specialist. He performs with leading singers and ensembles in the UK and abroad, directs The British Camerata, teaches at the Royal Academy of Music, and writes on music./smaller>
